Driven by green technology, building a clean production system
SINATI adopts an advanced chlorination method, a fully closed circulation process, and builds a supporting resource treatment system to significantly reduce the emission of "three wastes" (wastewater, waste gas, and waste residue). Compared with the traditional sulfuric acid process, the chlorination method can reduce energy consumption by more than 30% and carbon emissions by about 40%, achieving clean and professional green manufacturing at the source.
Resource recycling to promote green transformation of the industry
We make full use of by-product recovery and reuse technology to achieve nearly 100% recycling of key raw materials such as chlorine and titanium intermediates. This process not only effectively reduces resource loss but also provides strong support for the transformation of the titanium dioxide industry to a circular economy model.
Build a responsible supply chain and promote low-carbon development of the entire chain
From raw ore procurement to terminal application, SINATI has always insisted on building a controllable, transparent, and sustainable green supply chain system, giving priority to partners with environmental awareness and social responsibility to jointly build a green value chain.
Certified products empower downstream and help low-carbon terminals
Our titanium dioxide products have passed the ISO 14001 international environmental management system certification and are widely used in green products such as environmentally friendly coatings and plastics, helping customers reduce carbon footprints and improve environmentally friendly performance at the application end, and helping the green transformation of the entire industry chain.
In our commitment to renewable energy, SINATI has successfully commissioned a 13.5 MW rooftop distributed solar power station. This project marks a major step forward in our journey toward clean energy and sustainable manufacturing.
With an investment of approximately RMB 40 million, the solar system operates on a "self-use with surplus fed to the grid" model. It meets a portion of the company’s power needs, increases energy efficiency, and delivers both economic and environmental benefits. The system generates approximately 13 million kWh of clean electricity per year, equivalent to saving 3,909 tons of standard coal and reducing 10,700 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. By utilizing existing rooftop space without additional land use, the project greatly enhances space efficiency and stands as a milestone in our pursuit of a green factory.
Looking ahead, SINATI will continue to enhance its green manufacturing systems, expand investments in clean energy and environmental technologies, and work with global partners to build a circular, sustainable titanium dioxide ecosystem.
